About
I am a Senior lecturer in Criminology and Security Studies with a background in Politics. Completed my doctorate from the University of Ulster in 2008 entitled, 'A Strategic Analysis of Loyalist Paramilitaries in Northern Ireland'.
I am an executive committee member of the Political Studies Association; Vice President in charge of conferences of the Society for Terrorism Research; a member of the Insurgency Research Group; an IUS Armed Forces and Society Fellow; member of the Conflict Research Society; and part of the Centre for Applied Criminology at Birmingham City University.
